Fish house

Not that it cant be done, but in most cases a trailer isnt going to be the best thing to use as a frame for an ice house. The frame on an ice house needs to be pretty beefy. Again, it can be done, but most guys simply use a long sleeve and dont mess with dropping the house down if they use a trailer for the frame. If you have the equipment and the skill to convert the trailer to a fish house frame, then i would maybe consider just building a frame. It would suck to get the trailer all built up, invest money into it, then have it fall apart in a couple years because it couldnt take the asault that driving on the ice and freezing/torquing on it when pulling it up will give it.

someone last year had awesome pictures of their house like this. They had a Snap skirt added all the way around the trailer that they could attach to keep the draft out, then they used hole sleeves. It was a really slick looking set up.

Found it.
