Tips for getting sled started

Well I just got back from picking my sled up yesterday and $750 to have the one side rebuilt! I have talked to several dealers and others with sled experience and they all said the same thing, cold, sled had a can on it and probably the wrong jetting. I put the original exhaust back on it and everything is put back to factory settings. I bought it last year with this stuff done to it, so it was probably not done correctly. Also each dealer and mechanic I talked to they are only jetted for -5 weather. One dealer just had three sleds brought in that were blown or seized up, and the assumption is due to the extreme cold weather.

I am no expert on any of this just putting in my 2c on my expensive experience. I have done a lot of question asking as I do not want this to happen again and wanted to make sure there is not another underlying problem as to why it blew.
