Lets just say they are below numbers of pre-2009. Much of the entire wolf range they suffered losses from mange,adults and pups. 2013 pup litter survival I don't know. I do know along the north shore a few of the wolves trapped had very little hair. Overall tho,furs are in much better shape this year.

Wolf numbers are down some but still fairly plentiful.

I agree with laker there are still plenty of wolves but I don't believe that the numbers are up the last few years. I live, work and drive through wolf country and sighting a timber wolf is still a pretty rare event.
