Navionics app (Android & iOS)?

I have a good question, I downloaded the navionics app to a garmin/asus droid years ago and works fine as most fishing is on the rivers and local.

But a year or two ago as I started to venture outstate with the app that I see no lakes west of Miltona and the map actually cuts off the very west tip of Miltona and other lakes around it are literally cut in half by the red line of the map running north/south. Also if I follow this cutoff on the map around the north edge which ends just above Hwy 10 and extends towards the east in a direct line it is entirely cutoff until you hit the western edge of Duluth and then all the lakes are there in the northeastern quad. So the entire North and northwest is totally missing like, no fergus area and out to the Nodak border, wadena, bemidji, big sandy, cass, URedL etc all the way north to Canada border...At first I thought it was a zoom issue but even zoomed all the way down their is just nothing there in the north/NW quad.

I read about download issues when first installing and it showed the download was 100% complete as I made sure to hardwire the internet connection directly to the router and had plenty of memory.

Anybody see/ or had similar with theirs. Or is it maybe just a singular issue here?

Possible.....i am currently having the same issue w/mine. direct line cutoffs in certain areas. unfortunately one of them happens to be on my home lake. contacted navionics and they are working towards a solution.

never had any issues w/my old phone...but not working on my current one.

? i have as far as map downloading...i as well downloaded the entire state, and am curious if downloading a smaller map would work? but i don't know how to get rid of the 'original' area i downloaded?
