A coordinated effort between Santa and my family funded a couple of gift certificates to Pro Fishing Supply. I was pretty happy with the big guy. I've been in need of an electronics upgrade for some time and now I can finally make it happen.

I guess all my hint dropping worked. For the rest of you, it's another 6 months until Fathers Day and everybody has a birthday in 2014 grin. Gift certificates go a long way towards those big purchases that not everybody can make by themselves. Pro Fishing Supply is a Minnesota company, so its gift certificates are good in perpetuity (no expiration dates by Minnesota law) and my favorite part (and why I continue to do business with them) is its a real person, Dave Weber, that owns the company and can answer any question about the products he sells.
