Ok so get it out of the box put together, Throw an Lp tank on it and fired it up, 2 pulls no problem, Idle a little then dies? Fired it back up and coughs a little then dies? Now this was inside, Set it out in garage couple hrs. then tried again little better. Used Thrus. only drilled 4-5 holes, Not bad but spudered a little.

Went out this morning tip-up fishing and jigging, First 8 holes not bad but after that all down hill! Would not stay running and if it did start it took anywhere from 10-15-20 pulls and would die giving any throttle!

Any thoughts?

I know on my pro4 I had to turn the idle speed screw in (clockwise) just a touch to help with starting and idling. I turned it in just until the auger would rest and not spin slowly at idle. Maybe give that a go, although I wouldnt expect that to keep it from firing after 15 pulls nor would it explain the engine killing. I know there was a big dead spot in the throttle of my pro4 too. If you tried to ease into the throttle it would die. Was better off going from idle to full throttle

Hawg, That's what I was thinking, Maybe it was made on a Monday after a Packer loss?

Anyway round 2 today,2nd one runs much better but......

Blade ices up bad if not every hole its every other is this something I'll have to deal with, with the Ripper blades?

The Pro4 with the Stealth STX don't do this.
