"The Winds Of Change"

Driftless

Even IF they change the regulations, I doubt it would impact my fishing patterns and habits. It seems that once I switch over to ice fishing, It's that way until the ice breaks.

I can validate this argument with the fact that I live 10 minutes from a La Crosse River that stays open all year around due to water movement, and in the 7 years that I've lived in that proximity, have to yet fish it in during winter.

I would say this is the same mentality of a lot of other anglers I know as well.

I don't ice fish. Having one obsession most times is too many. I eat/sleep/breath trout fishing and Jordan's proposals will be good for my homewaters. I am old enough to remember the January trout season in Wisconsin. It was a blast!!!!!

Honestly, aside from silly count downs and overly inflamed conversations in message forums, none of it matters..

Politicians are gonna do and say what politicians are gonna do and say, and poor Jordan is caught in the middle of it all- Gosh his job must suck.

It's all hot air until the ink hits the wood...
