sunniewally
you may have to shim the blade a bit so it takes a little big bite.
CaptainMusky
Make sure the center point is sharp too. The other thing I did with my old chipper was installed the blade on the wrong side of the auger flute. Didn't work for squat until I figured it out. Worked like a charmalso you can cut up a pop can or a plastic strip out of something and put it in on the leading edge. just something to tilt the blade a little. trial and error. they used to include a set of shims with new blades
Hubcat
I have the chipper blade and it does take longer then their lazer blades.I bought a Lazer shaft from Strike master and it cuts way faster, I kept the Chipper blade for reopening holes in the ice house. On there web site they start at $103 for a 5inch and go up to $159 for a 10 inch. Worth the switch.Their new shafts work with the older models.
