Wolf Hunt Reports

Anyone get a wolf yet?

If there is another forum where the wolf hunting reports are or will be posted, please tell me. Will they be in the Furbearers forum?

Come on, at least 47 wolves have been registered already. Surely someone has a picture and/or story!?

I wasn't hunting wolves, but I had a pack run by my deer stand.

I was standing in my tree when I heard something trotting up behind me about 730AM. It sounded much more like a dog walking pattern than a deer's walking pattern so I turned slightly and there it was. One wolf at the edge of the woods, maybe 10 yards from me. It kept going until it got about perpendicular to me and the woods when it noticed me, looked for a couple seconds, then ran back into the woods. There was another further in the woods and a few more beyond the first two. I think there were about 5 total.

Ten minutes later, 4 does kick out across the opening I was hunting. I was hoping it was a buck that moved them, but really I knew it was the wolves.
