Mounting Heater in flip-over shack

Recommended Posts

This weekend at one of the seminars, Dave Genz mentioned that he mounts a heater in his portable so he doesn't have to take it out and put it on the ice. If anyone else does this, can you share how it's mounted? I would worry about things melting...?

Thanks.

most have "mounting brackets" or those screw holes the back of em, ive seen most just attach with that to the front of your sled either in the middle of a 2 man or off to 1 side for a 1 man. I prefer keeping mine portable & away from me (closer to the hole) otherwise I heat up waaaaaay tooooooo fast in my strikemaster suit
