Queenswake
They look pretty similar in terms of construction and prices. I had no idea I there were more economical wheel house choices other than the main players. These are prices I can deal with for such a short season. Looking for any comments on these. Thanks! two cups
I have a Performance Engineering house. I bought just the shell and had him use windows that I had, I like larger windows. Had house for about 4 years now, it is holding up well. I would not have a problem buying my next one from him. I do think that by doing the inside myself it is alot nicer and a better job. I used all good materials, it is not cheaper this way. Rick
fishingstar
The Performance Engineering houses have a better reputation in this area. they do a better job with the fit and finish.Dan
Lip_Ripper Guy
I've not been inside a King Crow, but I have seen a few PE. They are well built, on a quality frame. I'm not real crazy about their cabinets, or interior paneling. Fit & finish isn't the best, but it won't affect your ability to catch fish
sunniewally
f you want a house for fishing kc would be a decent house for the price. alot of houses are overkill for ice fishing. keep it light to get the most use rather then sit in the driveway. ridgeline makes a nice house too. bassNspear
talk to MJ here on HSO. he ordered one a few years back!
fiftyinch
I looked at both and went with Performance Engineering. I like the crank down hitch and the inside, because the inside has tongue and groove and not paneling. It's a little heavier weight but very nice overall product.
