Looks like fun!

Majorly bummed to not be walking the fields with my faithful companion (Chester) this Fall who died a couple months back.

Envious of you guys, but I am taking the time to prepare for next year and research breeders for a new pup this Spring.

miller, thanks for the comeback. I'm trying to research all I can before heading that way...any info would really be appreciated. I kn ow how it is to give up a good hunting spot, but this once in a lifetime trip, I can't pass up and it would really be helpful to actually drive to a place I could hunt without getting on someone else property. I probably will go on up north on the first leg of the trip to Effie mn. to try to get up a grouse or two, then stop on the way home to get a pheasant pointed. I use to hunt iowa. but they are really down in iowa. I will be looking for your reply, thanx for the comeback.
