My dog doesn't seem to be able to learn to keep away from skunks. I've used a solution from the vet that works fairly well. I remember hearing about using a concoction of hydrogen peroxide, baking soda and dish soap but can't remember the amounts and if you add water and how much. Anyone know or have a better method?

The recipe is 1 cup baking soda, 1 qt hydrogen peroxide, 1 tbsp dish soap. Skunk off, the shampoo, works better and doesnt hurt the dogs eyes. Skunkoff the spray works ok if the dog can dry, but its not the best in the rain.

What ever you do,do not premix that solution! Don't ask how I know

Downy fabric softner or dryer sheets work really well told to me by my dog groomer tried it more then once works great
