When to move

I just read an article on Coon trapping, though this topic could be related to any fur bearer. The portion that caught my attention was the part discussing trap movement. The author stated that most people would be surprised at the amount of coon still using an area after your catches dry up. He talked about simply switching baits as a good tactic, and to also keep an eye on weather patterns for high traffic days/weather.

I usually move my traps after 2 days of zero action and new sign on that spot, unless the weather has been really bad. I figure the less time I waste at each spot the more coon I'll catch, but this guy kind of contradicted my idea.

What's your strategy?
