with the forecasted temps this weekend, please take extra care of your dog's in the field. carry water for them, make them take breaks and pour water on the belly. 60's is pretty warm and dogs don't slow down. no bird is worth losing a dog over. plus once a dog overheats once, they are less able to control their body temps and will overheat more easily in the future. mine ended up in emergency surgery last winter, so im probably not risking it. Might take my kid out for an hour or so, but then back home. good luck! Glad the season is finally here!
