so today i took the auger out to start it. then took the fish houses down out of the shed to observe and admire. any one else do that this soon i think i'm sick hee hee. i'm still boat fishing yet

lol if your sick idk what I am then...I have been waiting for ice since it was 90 degrees in August... My co-workers give me dump because they're bringing deer hunting magazines into work and I'm bring ice fishing magazines from last year haha...

I'm right there with you. I go out and check out the fish house and equipment regularly now. Once it starts turning cold I can't help myself. Let's hope for an early freeze!

I too had all my ice gear out during that heat wave in August. everything is ready to go except for putting new line on the rods and waitng for pick up the new stuff I will be getting come November. really looking forward to using the new Clam drill/auger conversion kit and looking forward to fishing out of the new Clam Legend thermal one man house this year. my goal if the weather cooperates with my wishes will be to be walking out by the first or second week of December and driving out by the first week of January.
