redwing report and a question

I fished below the Red Wind dam last week. My main intent was to try to catch a nice flathead catfish. I ended up catching one small flathead (21.75 inch) and a few channel catfish (one just under 30 inches). There were lots of sturgeon jumping which was pretty neat. My question is how deep should I be fishing for flatheads? Depth ranged down to 70 feet and I was kind of lost on what depth to be fishing. Thanks, Jeff

ive personally nvr have fished for cats dwn on P4, but im guessin they would have similar habits to other river that i do fish like P2 or MN

this may seem super broad but i've caught fish anywhere from 3'-30'fow.

IMO, more important than depth is the structure your fishing. try to fish sum sort of structure, whether its a log jam, current seem, eddy, wingdams,,,

being that u can have 2 rods on P4, i'd probably find a spot with access to deep and shallower water and place baits in both and let the fish decide

heck bring a bud and you can really cover an area w 4 rods =D
