Hey guys', I'm looking to pick up a couple newer combos to keep in the bass boat when we happen across some nice sunfish/crappies. I'm not necessarily in search of the most effective combo since we only keep a few but one that is sensitive and fun to play small fish with. Thinking shorter rods would be more interesting but may be wrong. Thanks!

For years I fished with the rods in the 5' range that had very little backbone. They are fun but not real sensitive. They also make it tough when you hook into a nice bass or pike. My favorite set up now is 6' or 6.5' with a Pflueger President reel and 4 lb. test. Longer casts and better sensitivity. The Pflueger President is a tough reel to beat and reasonably priced.
