KenM1987
This year I'm planning on having two spear houses on two lakes. One of the lakes I live on so I can usually monitor it daily but I'm planning on having my other house on a lake a few miles away. My question is is there anything special any of you guys do to keep your house in place especially on those super windy days. Both my houses are pretty light. Dorkfish
Last year on the lake we go to someone had theirs blow across the lake and the top blew off so he's that is something to be worried about you could try using ice anchors and strap the house down with ratchet straps or something of the sort
shamalex72
I would put an ice anchor or two right through the wood floor if you're really worried about it.Usually there is enough snow, or even slush from cutting the hole, to bank the house. That's all I have ever done.
