Matt Johnson
Quick-strike rigs for big predator fish have been around for years. But they had flaws. Past tense. CLAM pro Jeff Andersen, along with Josh Kragthorpe, diehard monster pike and walleye pursuers, tinkered and tested designs and hatched BigTooth Tackle. We are proud to bring you the answer to cashing in when other rigs would let you down. When the flag pops, you want a BigTooth on the business end. Bigtooth Zero Rig Description: Ingenious sliding treble hook design cradles any size minnow in perfect swimming position. Fish hits, you put it to him, and the trebles close on his mouth like a snare snapping shut. Everything lines up, so the connection is rock solid. Nothing dangles. Very common for the second hook to find the fish’s mouth. Nothing to catch on the bottom of the hole. Fluorocarbon for walleyes and pressured pike in clear, shallow water. Stainless, nylon-coated black wire for the ultimate anti-tooth insurance. Blades near the trebles. Beads on the swivels. This is the best quick-strike rig ever created. Watch the Zero Rig VIDEO - Bigtooth Rig Description: Signature rig that launched the company. BigTooth’s Y-yolk design makes it easy to rig even large suckers (or other minnows) in a perfect horizontal swimming position, so they can move freely and react to approaching monsters. You know what comes next. Look away if you have to. Watch the Bigtooth Rig VIDEO - Enjoy!
pushbutton
Good to see that Clam is putting out product that will actually hook fish and not just fisherman Tried the Bigtooth last year and it truly is a sweet rig. Have been using something similar to the Baby Bigtooth under tip ups for a couple of years now and am gaining complete confidence, especially on the big walleye factories. If you have never tried it, you will be amazed how much of a difference a 100 or so feet away will make. Cool idea for the in line weight.
