Trolling Motor Prop Size?

I'm trying to replace my prop for my trolling motor.So I went to wallstore and fleet and they only have one size.My old prop is deeper then the standard One .It will bolt on but it doesn't seat all the way it needs an extra inch to fit right.There's a gap between the base and the new prop.It will work but I'm sure il have a weed canceling issue.How do I find the one I need? Thanks...

I just glanced at Minn Kotas HSOforum and they have two different sized replacement props, I wonder if you did what I did and got the wrong size. Measure the diameter of your motor, props are 3-1/4" and 3-5/8 in diameter.
