best atv (2002)

what would be a good atv to buy. looking for a 450,500. make and modle would help

If you are looking at the 450 to 500 class, nothing beats the Honda Rubicon.

First off, I would definately go yamaha. My personal favorite the wolverine(350), but if you want something bigger I would go with the kodiak or possibly grizzly. Really for a better response, could you be more specific on what you want. Things like manual or automatic, work machine or play machine. People on here seem to know what they are talking about and with specifics we could tell you more.

The honda 4X4 referred here is the Rubicon. With the introduction of a totally locking front end (so power doesn't go to the wheel up in the air) on some brands, a whole new ball game begins. The Rubicon is basically a 500 Honda Foreman.
