I am a Yamaha fan, but I am just curious about what I was told. Is there any truth behind the rumor that polaris will be making a sportsman 800 twin within the next couple or years. If it is, I actually think that is a little too big of a motor to be in a fourwheeler.

I've got some connections in the ATV world. Never heard any rumor about a SP800. Actually, the 700 is detuned quite a bit. Probably could be a 800 with some mods.

I have the SP700 and can't imagine a need for more power than that has! It can be scarey even!
