I can see it now at least if you fall in it'll be easier to come back up. Speaking of that are any of us smart enough to wear a harness while spearing I have heard of some people that harness younger kids in. I wonder how many of us here have had that close encounter with falling into the hole from getting a tad bit sleepy?

one time I as packing up, and I hear my father in law start peeing in the hole, and then I hear some noises and swear words and a splash, after making sure he had things put away, I opened the door to find him spread across the hole face down in a "X" shape, I had to grab his arms and fling him back on the ice.
