Dave
Just throwing out a new post to stay ahead of the sled head Forum.....lol Also, heard you can get your ATV serviced at the dealerships pretty quick. They don't have much work since nobody's riding sleds now

Guest
Dave or anyone else "in the know",Let's talk about service a little. This question is kind of specific to Polaris products. Have you ever swapped the fluid in your front hubs? If yes, what the heck do you refill it with? A syringe?I found a turkey baster (with measuring intervals) to be the best tool to replenish transmission fluid.
Dave
The front hubs really don't have that much fluid in them; about a few fluid ounces. After draining the old fluid from the fill hole (allen screw on hub pointed down), I just pour in some from the bottle. The small Polaris fluid bottle has a pointed spout on it.Turn the hub to the 3-4 o'clock position till the fluid runs out.[This message has been edited by Dave (edited 12-18-2001).]
