Wow that is one fancy rod! I haven't seen the new style guides before, what is the theory behind them?

There is a few benefits of microwave guides.

First, they are light due to the layout. The stripper guide is a little heavy due to the 2 rings but the next guide is a high frame 10 ring and the rest are 5 ring runners.

second, they are quite. The line chokes down fast with the double stripper and straitens the line. There is almost no noise especially with braid.

Lastly, they do cast farther with less effort. They look like another new thing to catch fisherman BUT I now hold them as one of the best innovations in rod building I. The last 10 years.

You do need to see it for your self.

Is this a MHX Mudhole blank I'm considering a similar build on there white MHX 6'10" Drop Shot Blank
