deerminator
So, I cleaned a bass the other day and noticed these little pink curly Qs on the innards. I think they were worms of some sort. I did some research on the internet and couldn't find much. Anyone have experience with these while cleaning? Is it something I should be concerned about? The DNR site seems to offer advice along the lines of as long as you thoroughly cook a fish then you should have no concerns. Thanks!
OnAFly
The only issues I had doing this is the thickness of the fillets makes for a goofy texture. If you sliced it into chunks it would be better probably. As far as parasites goes, we've all probably eaten more than we would care to know about. Cook it through and you'll be fine.
