Flutter Spoons

Recommended Posts

Lost a couple Sutton Spoons while in the BWCA. They are getting hard to find for me and expensive. Does anyone have some competitors I should try? I'm looking for tall, light spoons with very little side to side curvature; I want spoons that wobble loosely at very slow speeds and tighter at fast speeds so I can work them at any velocity in a canoe.

I saw some Michigan Stingers that looked like they would work. Any other ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Bay de noc baits I believe, makes the laker taker spoons which are a flutter spoon, Michigan stingers are a good choice as well as they are pretty thin and light weight. You could look into proking, silver horde and silver streak as well, but I believe most of the blanks they use are a bit heavier then the Michigan stingers.
