Push Mower Muffler Spitting Oil

So, when i started my Toro push mower this spring it spit a little oil out of the muffler. I chalked it up to not being run for quite a while. However, when I tried to start it yesterday I couldn't pull the cord. It just wouldn't pull from the recoil. I worked and worked and it and finally it pulled and started. But, it spewed blue smoke and oil from the muffler.

What the heck is wrong? Is there a valve stuck or something?

May try and check the air cleaner, a badly clogged air cleaner will create a vacuum as the engine tries to get air it actually pulls air and oil through the crank case breather hose and will also be hard to pull with the recoil start as air is restricted getting into the carb and intake.

I think I figured out and I feel stupid. When I store it in my garage I lift up the back of the mower and hook the handle on a hook that is screwed into my wall. It puts the mower at a pretty good angle. I bet it's leaking oil into the crank case.
