Motor has sat for a couple years, we cleaned the carbs since they were plugged pretty good and it fired right up in a trash can filled. Couldn't give any throttle in that since it would've threw water all over the garage of course, so we took it to the lake and it runs under low throttle, once you start to give it gas at a certain point it'll just start to die. I'm no mechanic and need some help at this point.

Thats a newer motor, and I doubt things are wearing out already. If the gas is new, and gas is getting to the carb, its either a carb that is not cleaned all fully, or fouled spark plugs. Replace the spark plugs, then follow the fuel line from the tank and look for leaks, and where it enters the fuel pump there is a screen that can clog.

when it starts to die, did you happen to try squeezing the bulb. Could be a carb issue or air getting in the lines.

Is the vent open on the gas tank?

The spark plugs are brand new, found the leak and should have it fixed by the end of the week, thanks for the responses.
