Just outside of Rice Bay in front of Glenwood Lodge opening morning 2013.

The lund rebel was launched at Glenwood and we hoped to make the short 500 yd trip to the channel to take on some eye. After getting about 200 yds from the channel and breaking a 40 year old paddle breaking the thin ice. Once we hit the 12 inches of ice still in our path we could no longer continue our journey and had to halt the attempted fishing expedition.

We did get back and get the boat landed about 2 hours later with no lines touching the water.

Take that Deadliest Catch.
