Ok, so I've never installed a fishfinder and my boat is up at the cabin so I can't look at the wiring on the existing unit I get there. My question is..do I need to buy some wiring and connections that will hook up to the battery..then connect to the wiring(power cable) included with my new unit? For some reason, I thought the cable would come with ends that do directly to battery. Also, for the fuse they show in the diagram, should I just connect up to the fuse box, or do I need to use an inline fuse? I'm electrically challenged so I'm sure it's much more simple than I think. I just don't want to spend the money to have a dealer install it.

Nice to finally meet you tonight. Make sure you tell me who you are again next time you come in. I will probably forget.
Let me know when you are dropping in again and I'll make sure we have more of those beverages around!
This northern boy needs a little help with this one.
Dried up kill hole in the duck timber?
Quicksand that all the deer fell into?

I’ve never been in the AR woods before but you’ve arrived by the looks of it.
Good luck.
