Anyone have a link or know when the regs come out for this hunt? I've got a client who has 2 young boys that are eaten up with bow hunting and I suggested they look into it. I want to send them any info i can find.

If you are up on Facebook, find the Camp Ripley page and like it. THey put any and all information regarding their hunts (i.e. youth, deployed soldier, disabled vet, etc) on the page with applications.

lol true story there! 12yrs and I think they must have firearms safety...i think...possibly not. Great hunt for the kids, with the one on one attention. I will possibly be up there helping this year. I will have to see with my work schedule if it will work out. MSAA has a big part of the volunteer work on this hunt. If you have any questions I can try to answer them for you and that goes for anyone also.

Maddowg:

The youth hunt is the weekend after the Deployed soldiers hunt. This year our hunt is 1-2 Oct, so that means the youth hunt would be 4-6, with 4th being the day to sign in, scout a bit and setup stands, the hunt being 5-6. You have to hunt north of Casino road if memory serves me correctly, which is the top 1/3 of Ripley.
