mrpike1973
hi i bought a new g3 guide v14 boat it has the split seats 2 boxes if you will. on the left and right side no bench seat. how would i go about mounting a seat here. i thought i could mount a standard seat swivel to the top of the seat its metal. then buy a removable seat clamp the kind that just slips on to the swivel mount. would this work i love the lay out but its to hard on my back leaning over all the time thanks

BoxMN
You want the 3/4" pin style seat pin and base. You won't need (or want) a pedestal, but the same type seat pin and base would work perfect there. The seat swivels great on it, there is a little spring for a little bit of suspension, and you can take seat on/off just by lifting it up. Cost is pretty low as well. That is what I would use. Good luck.

mtheis
This boat layout is exactly like my older Lund Adventure. This year I modified my boat by building a bench between the two and mounting the "SliderG5" on top of that, then putting a seat on that. Works perfectly. Now my boat is much more comfortable and doesn't list to the right all the time.
