Problem with my Lakemaster Chip

Or is it the Lowrance X18? I was fishing one day last year and the unit beeped when the contour lines went blank. I tried using an eraser on the chip, but nothing happened. Any guesses as to my problem?

Did your plotter still work? Maybe you lost power to the antennae?

The easiest way to figure out where the problem lies is to try your lakemaster card in another gps, and try another lakemaster card in your gps. Hopefully you've got some fishing buddies close by that will help you test it out.

But if you want a guess, my guess is that the problem is with the X18, not the card. It's not very often that the cards go bad. Good luck.
