Finished Projects

Haven't seen much action on this forum for a while so thought I'd share a few photos of some projects I finished up this past weekend. Now just waiting for the ice to melt...

Jon, how do like the Microwave guide setup? I just finished a couple rods and really like the way they cast...verrrrrrry smooth.

Remember the more you water the less time there is for building rods and using them!

I just place an order for four more builds and the parts should be arriving today according to the tracking. My Spring (or Summer) will be busy.

The blanks are both RX6 Rainshadows from batson (They were on sale from the GetBit HSOforum) The thread is a Size A thread and the red is from the Sulky brand. I used the colors I did to somewhat represent the color of a loon.

Chad, as for the Microwaves, I tend to liek them. They do seem to do what they are sdvertised to do and seem to get good feedback from all the research I have done one them. We'll have to get out on prior this summer so you can test them out!
