20lbSloughShark
I spent all day today putting in a floor into my boat, hopefully it will be done tomarrow to show. I used treated 2x4's and treated 3/4" plywood and wont loose any sleep. I assume you mean like the kind you have in a living room. I dont see the plastic and rubber turf like I have been using, doing anything like that.

If that wood is not sealed properly, it will eventually rot. That new MCQ treated wood is LESS corrosive, not 100% non corrosive. Big difference in my book.Remember, that picture is of marine grade ply, with fiberglass and resin(properly sealed) but the holes were not sealed from the factory. And no, that carpet was marine/outdoor carpet, not indoor.
jjz
My crestliner had unsealed CDX plywood throughout. What a joke. Had to redo everythiny but the transom. One problem with the treated stuff is it will twist, split and warp a ton while it dries out unless it is well supported and fastened, even then it can be troublesome.
