Robins

Might be a dumb question but iv had feeders out for years and seen a lot of cool birds but I have a robin that likes to sit on my feeder and eat bird feed! Has anyone ever seen this? most of the robins I see don't even come near my feeders let alone sit on them. Never seen it before

Robins don't usually eat bird seed but some do. I have fed them wax worms and hard boiled egg yolks on a platform feeder and they will eat some seeds then too.

with this recent round of snow covering the ground here, they gotta do what they gotta do, bugs & worms are going to be really scarce...got one thats eating suet...never seen that myself before, the robin really looks out of place balancing on the hanging suet feeder picking at it lol

Ya! THat robin at my place is hanging on my suet feeder too. Ur right does look out of place.
