I have 6 rods that need building and 3 of those needed some bling so I had Chad make me 3 sets of split grips out of Red Cedar.

I am always amazed at the quality of the work Chad does with these cedar split grips.

Anyone looking to add some nice wood grips to a customer rod, give Chad a shot as he simply does an awesome job.

Thanks again Chad for some wonderful wood grips. The marble look in the red cedar is beautiful. All the pieces fit to a T.

Still working on them. Just got the slpit grips epoxied on. Then I have the guides and decals then it will be done for photo's.

I do have a question though!!!

Over the years i have seen some VERY beautifull custom rods and handles.

Don't you guys ever feel guilty using them???

I've had someone tell me that the rod was too nice to use. I told them they are too nice to miss-use and never too nice to use.

All the rods I have built with alot of bling and nice grips all get used.

They are built to use so one might as well. Can't hurt them, they just look perty.

I had one guy I built a rod for say everytime someone see's it, they ask him why he fishes with it, he says, that is what I had it built for.
