Tounge ski

Earlier this winter I saw a picture of a ski that someone had made for their fish house tounge. It was made so you could change the amount of weight put on atv. Ive been searching for the pic and cant find it. Anyone have any info?

They really take a lot of wieght off of the four wheeler. Just wondered how well they pull.

highlife4me- where do you get that tounge ski at and how much? Checked out road dog outdoor like the other poster said but they only have the aluminum ski's for the wheelhouse wheels on their HSOforum, no tounge ski.

I copied that pic from an earlier post. A guy from Arlington made his own. Looked like a really good idea and I plan on making one, just didn't need one this year since I never took my wheelhouse out.

I checked out the one from Road Dog but I like this one better because you can apply some weight to the ATV for better traction. This one also has wheels so you can use it any time.

I am making one for myself. Onlyt thing I will be doing differant is make it so I can replace snowmobil skis for wheels by pulling 2 pins. I will also make it so the skies are going to ride in the 4 wheeler tracks to cut down on some drag. I already have skies made for the house wheels.

I would guess that they would be fairly easy to make. Thats a good idea to make it so it rides in the four wheeler tracks since the snow is packed down already from the four wheeler.

Upstairs they had one of these at the recent ice show. Looked like all aluminum without the wheels.

That's the one I was thinking of Highlife. Did you make it, if so do you sell them. I could do it myself, but don't want to steal someones idea if they are selling them. I like the idea of being able to adjust the weight transfer.
