Small ponds

Any opinions on them. I found one that is no larger than a couple of backyards. I have sump these types of little potholes but I have never hunted one exclusively.

If it has ducks on it now, it will probably have some on it Sat. At high noon, jump it, pick up whatever ducks you get, then throw out 1/2 doz decoys and hide away on the edge. The ducks that you jumped will want to come back in there. This works best if theres lots of ducks - 20 plus - on the pothole. I have one little honey hole in the woods that I like to jump, it always has a few wood ducks and maybe a few mallards. It works best when it really windy out or if its wet from rain, other wise its tough to sneak up on, to noisy in the woods.
