st. croix openner date mn/wi border

I can't find the border openner dates any where in Mn. info. Wi says the 4th same as there lakes. Im hopping thats wrong, and it's the week earlier like last year. Anyone know for sure? Thanks, dny

Wisconsin's Inland Fishing Opener is the first Saturday in May, which would be May 4th this year. That means that the St. Croix will be fishable a week earlier than the Minnesota Opener.

Thats all I could find too.....

It was nice to fish it a week sooner last year. But I guess the fishing pressure should be less this year for opener with guys going elsewhere in Wisconsin.

Pool 4 is open year round. Exactly what border water are you asking about?

The St. Croix always opens the saturday nearest May 1st. Which ends up the end of april at times. Wisconsin inland is always the first saturday in May if that makes sense. It happens to coincide with the WI opener this year which is on May 4th as mentioned.

Someone besides me was thinking about open water and I think I just got to excited!
