Geese over water?

I live in Mower county can anyone give me the scoop on hunting geese over water during the early goose season? I have heard we can and we cant. Is the limit 5 like last year? I have not seen the waterfowl regulations yet. Flip have you been seeing many birds? I have not seen as many this year as last. Maybe this week when the weather cools off.

I thought I had read something saying the state was going to allow over-water hunting during the early season for all zones except the Twin Cities zone. Your best bet is to check the regs on the DNR HSOforum www.dnr.state.mn.us
