97 GMC Seirra

Recommended Posts

I have a 97 gmc half ton... Back in September I had the rear end rebuilt in it. When I got it back I noticed that when putting it in reverse it takes a little bit longer to actually go in to gear. This past week i have had 2 diffrent occasions where when I am in reverse and give it a little gas it clunks bad and jerks. Its almost like if my back two tires were on ice and cleared the ice and the tires caught the cement. Thats how bad it is. The noise is a terrible sound too. I am not leaking any fluid and I checked to tranny fluid and all is well. What could this possibly be?? Thanks
