is there a blue boook for used motors?

looking to sell my 2005 70 HP suzuki 4 stroke. but i have no clue what its worth is there a blue book or somthing like that for boat motors?

NADA does have marine items but I'm not sure if they have stand alone motors. Even if they do those books are not very accurate on boats in MN. An item like that doesn't turn over very often so it's hard for anyone to put an exact price on it. And of course at the end of the day it's worth what someone will pay for it not what some book or some dealer tells you.

I'd say half of new. Maybe around $4,000.

The NADA/BB prices for most boating equipment is much less than actual prices. When selling a motor of mine, I basically did google/hsolist searches of comparable motors.

When I buy used motors, I go around to marine shops and look online (clist and others) to see what people are hoping to get. Keep in mind that those are their asking prices. It doesn't mean that people are buying at those prices!
