Crows pecking at roof!

We have a couple of crows that are pecking at our one year old roof, what gives? They fly off when we try to see what they are up to. If something died up there it would be long gone by now.

You mite have some of those Chinese Lady bugs up there. In the fall they seem to pile into ever crack they can find. My buddy pulled some siding off his house one spring and they were stacked up all the way up the side of the wall in one spot.

Wish-I-Fishing, I had the same problem on our new roof. Never did figure out why. But what did work was some strips of this reflctive ribbon. You just tie it to a couple different places up there (vent staccks or what evers available) and let it flutter in the breeze. I dont recall the name of it but if interested let me know or pm me. I have some at work yet I can get more info or even send you a couple strips. Let me know.
