Fishing is extremely slow so I check the MN DNR Lakefinder app on my phone. Fish present Red Breasted Pirahna. Is this the DNR joking or did they really trap one? Does not show up on the regular survey - just the mobile app.

I watched a show on those things once. They did a test to see at what point the piranha could not longer take the cold water. It was something like 50 degrees. So, for a lake that freezes over, it won't last a winter...unless there's warm water discharge somewhere.
