Guest
Duck BusterMy lab is a year and a half. I'm not really sure if it is a good pedegree but she has one. If you are looking for a hunting dog field champion line is not neccesairly what a hunter might be looking for. They tend to be a little more high strung. The mother of mine was a hunter, the father was a field champ. The thing that was most important to me is that all through the lines they all had good hips and eyes. All I know is that she eats, sleeps and breathes to fetch ducks. I'm sending her pedigree to a guy that knows more about it. I will reply back when I hear from him. If you want more info. HUNTER2
Make shur you know how to read the papers on the dog's parents. We bought a golden retriever from a guy and he said there was no problems with the hips. We didnt know how to read the papers. Then we found out that the vet told this guy not to breed the female because of bad hips. He did anyway. Our vet said our pup would be lame in a year. Worst case he's ever seen. Male parent was fair. It should say exellent, good, fair,or poor after the hips on the parents. ------------------Hunt&Fish tell you drop!
