Vex Double View Issues

I bought the Double View without DTD or Sonar last year. I put my 18 on it and got to use it only once last spring. over the summer i left the battery charger/maintainer plugged in. I go out the first time to use it and the battery wasn't strong enough to turn on the camera. I bought a new battery and charged it over night. then put the Vex in the garage for two weeks. then today i grabbed it and went out with the kids. I pop my holes go to turn it on and NOTHING. the Digital Battery Status didn't even light up. I get home and plug in the charger for a second and the unit came to life. now i have it sitting there with the camera and sonar running and the Status shows 62% with the arrow on "charging"

Did you have the main power switch turned on when you were charging it? If the charger is plugged in and the switch is off the meter will light up but it will not charge.

yes i did have the switch on. I learned that lesson a couple years ago it is now at 62% but with the "discharge" arrow on
