I must of been a good boy this year since Santa gave me a trip to Lake Okeechobee. My issue is, when do I go? I think early to Mid February is the best time, but not 100% sure.

Anyone have any insight?

Seems like a straightforward math problem:

((What's a time you'd least like to be in MN) x (what's a time when the bite down there is the best)) - ((what's a time you'd most like to be in MN) + (what's a time the bite here is best)) = ?

But I dunno...mid-February sounds pretty nice. I'd probably wait a wee bit closer to the opener up here, just so the wait after getting back wasn't so long.

I think they spawn mid to late February down their dont they? I guess I would try and be there during the spawn to get a 10+ pounder.
